AsiaInfo, a provider of software solutions and IT security products and services in China, recently announced that it has won a tender with China Telecom to develop an Operational Data Store (ODS) system for Xinjiang Telecom and Northern Telecom , the northern division of China Telecom that covers nine provinces in Northern China. China Telecom is the world’s largest fixed-line telecommunications and broadband service provider.

The ODS system (Operational Data Store), as part of China Telecom’s Business Intelligence solutions, is able to examine data from different business sectors, thus helping the operator to better understand the customer behavior and check all the customer information from a single view.
